Linda Minard

Linda Minard earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana.  She has a concentration in psychology with endorsements in junior high language arts and social science.  Mrs. Minard taught at two suburban schools before joining Queen of the Rosary in 1996 where she taught first grade for fifteen years, second grade for seven years, and third grade for one.  Mrs. Minard earned the Heart of the School Award in 2009.  She views teaching in a Catholic school as a calling rather than a job.  Mrs. Minard believes Catholic schools provide opportunities and faith-centered experiences that allow each child to reach their potential.  She and her husband Jeff have two children: Jimmy is a senior at Northern Illinois University majoring in music education and performance, and Lindsay is a sixth grader at QR.
