Mrs. Laura Maldonado
Laura Maldonado holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education with endorsements in middle school language arts, science, and social studies from Northeastern Illinois University. After college, Mrs. Maldonado spent two years working as a kindergarten enrichment teacher at a private preschool in Park Ridge. In addition to her work at the kindergarten level, Mrs. Maldonado spent a year assisting in a preschool classroom at St. Raymond School in Mt. Prospect.
At Queen of the Rosary school, Mrs. Maldonado taught 1st grade for four years. She is currently the 5th grade homeroom teacher. She also teaches Pre Algebra I and 7th grade literature. She believes that through the guidance and commitment of a caring teacher, every student is capable of being motivated to learn.
